Trading rules
Scam here and you are gone for good
HanseRoad is a site of trust between players. Everyone here trades on the word of a stranger, so we show no mercy to those who abuse it. There is no second chance for a scammer.
Every trade leaves a timestamped log that cannot be edited. Staff also see reported messages and the accounts linked to yours. We decide on the evidence of both sides, then we act according to how serious it is:
Level 1 · Misconduct
Spam, insults, leaving trades open without answering, ignoring a rule on this page.
Written warning, kept on your account. The next one means a suspension.
Level 2 · Bad faith
Misdescribed items, stock you cannot deliver, repeated stalling or cancelling to pressure a trader.
Suspension of up to a year, during which you cannot trade. Repeat it and you are banned.
Level 3 · Scam
Taking an item and then cancelling the trade or claiming you never got it. Marking delivered without delivering. False reports, fake screenshots. Impersonating staff. Trading gold for real money or anything outside HanseRoad.
Permanent ban, with no warning, on the first offence. Your shops disappear. Gold gained from the scam is removed. Gold left on the account is not refunded.
Level 4 · Fraud
Stolen cards, chargebacks on gold you spent, hacked accounts, passing gold to an accomplice, using several accounts to cheat.
Permanent ban of every account linked to you. After a payment reversal your account stops at once and your open trades are held. We report the fraud to payment providers and to the authorities.
Been scammed? If a buyer took your item and cancelled, write to support@hanseroad.com with the link to the trade and your screenshots. Staff handle each report by hand. Sellers: mark the trade delivered the moment you hand the item over, because from then on the buyer can no longer cancel alone.
Gold stays on HanseRoad
- Never offer or ask real money, crypto, gift cards or game accounts for gold. No exceptions, no "outside deals".
- Pay only through HanseRoad. A trade done outside escrow is not protected and cannot be disputed.
Selling
- List only items you have and can deliver now, described exactly. Remove stock you no longer hold.
- Answer orders quickly. If you cannot trade, set yourself away: buyers see it before ordering.
- Deliver only after the trade is accepted (gold in escrow), then mark it delivered right away.
- Check the timer of the trade before you hand anything over, and extend it if you need more time: when it runs out, the gold goes back to the buyer.
- One shop per market. Bump only as allowed (once the shop has been quiet for 4 hours): no "up" spam.
Buying
- Order only what you mean to buy. Withdraw an offer you no longer want instead of leaving it open.
- Join the agreed game (or accept the Steam trade) promptly, check the item, then confirm receipt.
- Do not confirm before you have the item, and never confirm under pressure.
- Choose how long your order stays valid (30 minutes by default) and stay reachable for that time: once the seller marks the item delivered, you have 1 hour to answer before the gold is released.
Meeting in game
- Share game names, passwords and Steam trade URLs only in the private meeting point of the trade, never in public topics.
- Trade in the agreed game. HanseRoad staff never ask you to trade in another game or to drop items.
Cancellations and disputes
- You can cancel alone a few times a day before delivery; mutual cancellations are always free. Cancelling because the other side went silent does not count against you.
- If you did not receive an item marked delivered, report it from the trade room: the gold is frozen until staff decide.
- Give honest evidence in a dispute. False reports and fake screenshots lead to a ban.
Topics and ISO posts
- Stay on topic: requests, availability, prices of what is listed. No insults, no spam, no advertising other sites.
- One ISO per item you look for. Close it once served.
- Report scams, real-money offers and abuse to the staff instead of answering them.
